ASSP Savannah Chapter Member Value and Savannah Annual Chapter Dues Survey

In approximately 2010, ASSP Savannah established an annual $20 Local Chapter Membership fee to pay for events as well as required travel expenses for volunteer leaders. Note: The Savannah Chapter receives no financial support from National Dues, only the annual $20 chapter dues.

Over the last decade, the chapter had also required members to pay for their event meals. As most of you are aware, the last few years, our amazing Host Sponsors and/or Savannah Chapter have paid for meals at our incredible events.

We need our members' input to continue providing this and other services our members deem value-adding.

After assessing this survey's responses, if warranted, a member vote will be held before any changes are made.

Would you support the Savannah Chapter raising the Annual Savannah Chapter Membership dues to help sustain the current activities and experiences provided? *

An alternative would be for members to pay for their meals at the event, preventing us from utilizing some of the current conference room spaces due to no restaurants onsite.

Some members have expressed concern that obtaining reimbursement from their employers per meal would be more complex than paying for it upfront with membership dues.
